Free Flu Shots

WCC Nursing Students, along with a Whatcom County Department of Health representative, will be on campus administering flu vaccinations

Thursday, December 6, in SSC 107/108 – from 1:30PM-4:30PM.

There is no cost, and you do not need to bring an insurance card. You must be between the ages of 18-64 to receive this flu shot.

The event is open to staff and students – please help spread the word!

The dosages which will be available to students are given with a newer system, sometimes referred to as “tiny needle.” The federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) restricts the use of these vaccinations to people between the ages of 18 and 64. Adults age 65 and over as well as children and youth may consider the flu vaccine guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as their primary healthcare provider.
    The Whatcom County Health Department puts out a list of places where flu vaccines are available. The list includes information on which vaccines are available and cost. The address below will take you to list of resources.
