If you’re planning on financial aid for fall but you haven’t submitted your FAFSA (that’s the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), get on it today! If your FAFSA isn’t in by the end of the day today, you will not have a financial aid award in time to pay your fall tuition before the quarter starts. If you get your FAFSA in later, there’s still a chance you might be eligible for a retroactive award, but you’ll have to front the tuition first.
Submit your FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Once your FAFSA is in there’s another step in completing your application: turning in a data sheet and any other documentation Whatcom’s Financial Aid Office asks for. The deadline for those documents is June 15th.
