If you receive or plan to receive financial aid disbursements (now called financial aid refunds) you need to know about Higher One. In the summer 2013, Whatcom Community College partnered with Higher One to bring a new method for WCC students to manage financial aid refunds with The Whatcom Choice Card.

With this card you choose how you want your refunds distributed. You have three options, but you must make a choice:

  • You may have your refund loaded onto the Whatcom Choice Card and use it like a debit card
  • You may ask for direct deposit into the bank of your choice
  • you may ask for a printed check to be sent to your address

To make the choice please go to www.WhatcomChoiceCard.com
