W. Ingram Family Scholarship Now Accepting Applications!

scholarshipoppThe W. Ingram Family Scholarship Fund is now open for application!

This fund will award an annual scholarship of at least $1,000 to a Bellingham School District graduate who is returning to formal education after a hiatus, and intends to continue their education at Whatcom.

“Walt Ingram, a retired commercial fisherman and former teacher, believes strongly in supporting young people to pursue their education. He understands that not all young people are ready to enter college directly after high school and that, after a few years away from school experiencing the “real world,” a young person is often more focused and ready to continue their education.”

To apply for this scholarship, visit Whatcom Dollars for Scholars and submit your application before the September 30th deadline! The recipient will be notified by October 19th.

If you have any questions regarding this scholarship, please contact the Whatcom Community Foundation at scholarships@whatcomcf.org.
