It’s time to apply for Whatcom Community College Foundation Scholarships! The general application for 2016-2017 is available now through February 29th! The WCC Foundation offers many scholarship opportunities to Whatcom Community College students who demonstrate academic achievement, personal growth, and or contributions to fellow students, the College, or the community. Scholarship awards are typically announced in May or June, with possible additional awards announced in the summer.

Notifications will be both mailed and e-mailed to the address listed on your scholarship application. Be sure to update the Foundation of any address or email changes.

It’s a new year, and that means it is time to renew your FAFSA for the 2016-2017 school year.
March 15th marks the priority deadline for completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as the FAFSA! Complete your application by this date and you are guaranteed to have your award ready for the 2016-2017 academic year. You are also more likely to be eligible for grant dollars that have limited funds like State Need Grant.
If you have not yet applied, for financial aid for next year please do so now! Follow the steps at Whatcom’s Financial Aid website, to make sure you are set for the upcoming academic year!

Heads-up! Winter quarter 40% refund deadlines are approaching! You must withdraw from your class by Monday January 25th in order to receive 40% of your tuition back. For WAOL online classes, you must withdraw by Sunday January 24th
