Are you interested in a career in healthcare? Attend tomorrow’s Health Professions Job Fair! Healthcare employers will be present from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at the Health Professions Education Center, 475 Stuart Road, just north of the main campus on Cordata Parkway.  Currently, 18 health-care employers are scheduled to attend the Health Professions Job Fair, including Alderwood Health and Rehabilitation, Avamere Health Services, Island Hospital, Massage Envy, Peace Health Medical Group, Unity Care NW and others.

Prep for the upcoming WCC Job Fair by attending this prep workshop! You will learn about job fair strategies like networking skills, how to approach an employer and resume building.

 Choose from one of two workshop times!

Join us on May 2nd from 3-4:30pm in LDC 211, or May 4th from 12:30-2pm in Cascade 114!

Tuition Deadline Approaching!

Heads-up!  Know these important dates so you aren’t dropped from your classes due to non-payment:

  • If you registered between February 29th and March 20th, tuition is due Monday March 21st.
  • For registration from March 21st to March 30th, your tuition is due March 31st!
  • If you register on or after March 31st, your tuition will be due day of registration.

Monday November 16th marks the final day to update grading or withdraw from fall quarter classes! Stop by Registration in Laidlaw 102 to update Satisfactory/ Unsatisfactory grading, audit, or to withdraw.

Remember: changing credit amount may impact your financial aid, so be sure to speak with a financial aid representative or advisor before dropping any classes.

The top 5 resumes were selected by our panel of employers and the winners are: Leslie Campbell, Christine Heintz, David Hirsch, Misty Manherz, and Alicia Smith. Congratulations to our winners! We received a lot of excellent resumes, and appreciate all of your entries!

Whatcom’s Career and Transfer Center is hosting a follow-up workshop for anyone would like feedback and support in revising their resume. The resume workshop will be held Tuesday June 9th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in Baker 114. Please let us know if you will be attending via the link below.
